Ready to send an item back and pick something N-E-W? Good! You came to the right spot. Here you’ll find everything you’ve ever wanted to know about how to swap and make a return, so you never have to ask, “how do I do this?” ever again.
If you have a 4 Item Membership…
- Your swap will unlock on your monthly billing date. Hold onto your items at home until then and return whenever works for you. Just make sure to use your swap before your next billing date.
- When you’re ready, choose which items you want to swap, keep or buy. Then, you can build your next shipment. Once you’ve confirmed, send back your returns. Note: By keeping a style at home, there will be one less spot for something new in your next shipment. But you can always add an extra spot if you’d like!
- Put your rentals in the garment bag they arrived in and be sure all accessories and handbags are back in their dust bags or boxes. Occasionally, shipments may arrive in a polybag or a cardboard box, which you can also use for returns.
- If you can, return items with the hangers and plastic bags they came with. We’ll take them off your hands and make sure they’re recycled properly. A win-win.
- Remove the prepaid return label from the garment bag’s inside pocket and insert it into the plastic pouch on the outside of the bag. Then, fold the bag, tuck in the handles, and zip it shut.
- Now, send your garment bag back! You can drop it off at the nearest location of the shipping carrier listed on your label, find a drop-off location or swing by your local Staples. In select cities, you can schedule a home pickup to return your rentals without ever leaving home! For more information on return options, head to this page.

- Both of your shipments will unlock on your monthly billing date. They can be used whenever you want during the month, but don’t roll over to your next billing cycle. Keep or swap as many items as you want each time. You can always return some items while enjoying the rest at home so you never go a day without something to wear.
- Your spots will open up and you can select new styles immediately upon marking rentals as ‘returning’. Want more new items with you next shipment? You can always add extra spots to your plan.
