Summer is officially in full swing, meaning there’s no shortage of reasons to get dressed. From summer soirées to nights out on the town, RTR members are booked and busy — and where there are fun plans, really great outfits usually aren’t far behind.
In that spirit, we’re taking a peek into the cities (and shipments!) of some of the best-dressed members of the RTR community to see what they’re up to this summer — and of course, how they’re getting dressed for all of it! This week, RTR member Celeste Hernholm (@seldomlystill) is showing us around sunny San Diego.
What’s in Celeste’s shipment:

RTR: What do you love best about living in your city?
CH: Easy access to so many different neighborhoods. My favorites are Point Loma, South Park, Little Italy and Coronado. I can be downtown one minute and at the beach 10 minutes later. I’m also convinced San Diego has the best weather in the country. It’s pretty much 70 degrees and sunny for most of the year.

RTR: You have the perfect Saturday planned in your city. What’s on the agenda?
CH: The perfect Saturday starts with a breakfast at Palmy’s in Pacific Beach. I’d do some shopping at several amazing local boutiques like Rare Bloom, Gold Leaf and Thread+Seed. At some point I’d have a glass of rosé somewhere with views of the water. A sunset walk around my neighborhood, Sunset Cliffs, is always enjoyable. The end of the day would entail going to Mona Lisa, a local Italian market, and getting ingredients to make pizza at home! Finally, some ice cream from Stella Jeans is a must for an after-dinner treat.

RTR: Describe the fashion vibe of your city in 5 words or less.
CH: Casual, trendy, beachy

RTR: Think fast! What was your favorite piece in your shipment and where did you wear it?
CH: My favorite piece was the Veronica Beard blazer I wore to a local makers market on the Embarcadero. I paired it with some denim shorts and a basic white tank to dress the blazer down. It brought the perfect amount of chic to an otherwise super casual outfit.
