Meet Nadia Azmy, Art Director, style editor and graphic designer. The RTR Unlimited member is a constant source of inspiration to us, not only for her impeccable taste, but also her boundry-breaking work. Nadia was just named one of Harper’s Bazaar’s “6 Arab Women Shaping New York City’s Creative Scene” and just launched MINAAZINE, a quarterly magazine that explores the aesthetics of Middle Eastern and North African cultures. We caught up with the entrepreneur and content creator to get the low-down on her job, her style and why she rents. Read on for the scoop.
Your style in 3 words…
Effortless, simple and individualistic.
Who’s your style icon? Why?
Ugh, too many to count. I’ve always admired a woman who dresses however she wants and doesn’t blindly follow trends.

Tell us about your jobs! What do you do and how did you get there?
I am an all around creative (creatives will understand that). I am the Art Director at Maison MRKT by day, editor of NadiaAzmy.com and Co-founder of MINAAZINE (a publication launching soon) by night! I attended Parson’s for graphic design and, ever since then, I have been expressing my creativity through these outlets.
What’s always on your desk?
Aesop Resurrection hand balm, Burt’s Bees lip balm and Diptyque’s Eau Duelle perfume. Oh, and a lint roller (my two furry kitties get their hair all over me)!
Power woman you look up to and why?
Every woman who is successfully doing what she loves.

Why did you decide to join RTR Unlimited?
I love the ability to to dip my toes in trends that I, otherwise, might find too intimidating. I keep my look pretty simple on most days, but Unlimited allows me to dabble in trends that I’m currently into. My readers are always looking for the latest luxury trends, and Unlimited allows me to showcase my styling with a wide range of pieces.
Favorite wardrobe essentials to always have on hand to mix and match with rentals?
A black turtleneck, white button up and relaxed jeans.
Renting gives me the freedom to…
To try anything and everything without the long-term commitment!
